No we do not have a boat, we make only shore dives at our local dive site.
Water temperature ranges from 18c in April peaking at 27c in August dropping to 24c in October. We offer 3mm or 5mm shorties and 5mm long wetsuits.
If you are already a certified diver then you are more than welcome to bring your own camera which you are responsible for at all times. Personal cameras and "Go Pro" type systems are NOT permitted to be used by student divers on any PADI training programme. Kos Divers also offers and Photo service please ask for further details.
Yes we offer a range of PADI beginner courses and where possible we can schedule underwater time together. If they do not want to dive, snorkelling equipment is readily available for hire.
In the Aegean there are no coral reefs but there are many species of sea bream, sea bass, Flounder and scorpion fish these are seen on a daily basis. For the macro enthusiast nudibranches, shrimps and hermit crabs are also common. Schools of Barracuda and Jacks are occasionally seen and if you’re very lucky rays, turtles and sea horses can be spotted.
Typical marine life you might encounter includes octopuses, rockfish, scorpionfish, nudibranchs, schools of bream, triggerfish, stingrays, lionfish, and more. Occasionally, you might spot amberjacks, small tunas, or Mediterranean barracudas hunting in the blue. Some species are unique to our waters, while others are Lessepsian immigrants from the Red Sea.
